"Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends." Proverbs 17:9 NLT This weekend, I attended my church's Freedom Conference. Throughout the past 13 weeks, I've attended a Freedom small group. It's designed to help you embrace the truth of God's word, remove every obstacle to intimacy with God, and … Continue reading Forgiveness = Freedom
The year is coming to an end and I have to ask, have you or will you reach all of your 2018 goals? If so, congratulations!! 🙂 If not, you are not alone! When I looked at my 2018 goals list a few weeks ago, I realized I'd accomplished 8 of 11. I also noticed … Continue reading Conquering Goals in 2019
Don't worry, I'm not here to share 24 things I've learned in the past year 🙂 However, I am appreciative of God's blessings and this year I wanted to celebrate in a different way.
You are worthy. And your worth does not decrease when other people are not able to see it. Your value does not lessen when you feel insecure, because your value is found in Christ. Your dreams do not become impossible the moment someone shoots them down, unless you decide you will no longer pursue them. Because faith without works is dead and if you're going to believe in God you must also believe you were created in His image and the desires He has given you will come to pass. That has to become your truth.
"I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings." Hosea 6:6 (NLT)

A few years ago, when I was praying during a church service, God spoke to me audibly. I had been praying that He would speak to me, but what He said threw me completely off guard. God instructed me to let go of someone in my life, and He used their specific name. His voice … Continue reading Being Obedient to God’s Voice
I would be lying if I said it was easy being single or that I am always content in the season that I'm in. Oftentimes, I have felt as though people brush the desire for marriage under a rug and say that you shouldn't even be concerned with it. Let's be honest... those desires are … Continue reading Still Waiting on God? An Encouragement to Single Ladies
Have you ever felt like you've drifted away from God, or like you just weren't as close as you were before? Or maybe you've never felt that close feeling, but you want to. What do you do when you feel far from God? Because being in that place can be discouraging. It sometimes feels impossible … Continue reading Far From God
"A kingdom divided by civil war will collapse. Similarly, a family splintered by feuding will fall apart. And if Satan is divided and fights against himself, how can he stand? He would never survive." Mark 3:24-26 (NLT) As Christians, we are constantly in war. You vs. the enemy, flesh vs. spirit (you vs. you), and … Continue reading Civil Wars
